Hey guys, can someone tell me how to wire a 5 pin relay for negative trigger? I want to have [ + ] positive going to the solenoid for an air shifter and wouldn't you know the grid uses a grounding relay to trigger the relay. I've never wired a negative relay before and would like some help doing it.
Thanks in advance, David....

It is very simple. When you say 'relay', I presume you mean a std relay lie the common/popular Bosch 30 amp relay. It comes in 4 & 5 pin versions. Both types have 2 of the pins to energise the relay coil, which then switches the relay contacts. The coil connections are not polarity sensitive, either can be used for + or - & vice versa.

If you are using one of these, pins 85 & 86 are the coil terminals. Connect 86 to the + supply; connect 85 to the device/contact that will provide the ground connection.
